Heated panels heating principle
Most of our heating products use composite metal wire or carbon fiber heating wire for heating. The advantages of these two heating wires are that they have strong tensile strength and high toughness and are not easy to deform. Therefore, even if they are washed in a washing machine, their heating function will not be destroyed. Some of them use graphene for heating, which is generally used for heating protective gear products. This kind of product does not need to be washed frequently, but it can also be washed.
Cleaning method
No matter what heated items are washed, the first thing is to unplug the battery or power bank. Otherwise, the battery will be short-circuited due to water ingress and cannot continue to work.
1. Hand wash (recommended)
In principle, we recommend hand washing for heated clothing that can be hand washed, because hand washing is less harmful to clothing and is relatively less likely to damage the circuit or power connector of heated panels.
2. Washing in a washing machine
For heated products that need to be washed for a long time, such as heated socks, you can use a washing machine to wash them. However, we recommend that you use a wash bag to pack the clothes before putting them in the washing machine. This can minimize the damage to the product caused by the washing machine.
