As far as I know, most people have never come into contact with heated apparels, and most customers have not carefully read the product instructions and safety precautions. I think this is a very dangerous signal. I think as a member of the heated wear industry, I need to popularize some common sense and precautions for everyone.
About Usage
1. Rated voltage/current: The battery that powers heated wear must have the corresponding rated voltage, which is generally 3.7V/5V/7.4V. Products that require 3.7V/7.4V batteries usually use DC interfaces, and we provide matching batteries. If it is a heated clothes with a USB port, it can generally be used with a power bank with a 5V output voltage. It is recommended to use a 2A output current port to power it to avoid insufficient power resulting in insufficient heating temperature or abnormal heating.
2. Recommended use time: We recommend that any heated wear product should not be used continuously for more than 30 minutes. The reason is not the product itself, but the fact that human skin cannot be in direct contact with medium or high-temperature surfaces for a long time. Many customers use heated socks or gloves to keep their hands and feet warm because their hands and feet are cold. However, because the temperature of their hands and feet is too low, the skin’s body temperature is unbalanced. The skin is in contact with the heating panels for a long time and suffers low-temperature burns without knowing it. The burning sensation is only felt the next day. However, this situation is not caused by the ultra-high temperature of the heated wear; it is actually caused by improper use. I know that many people will ignore this issue, so I emphasize it here.
3. Charge the battery regularly: Most customers do not use heated wear products in the summer, so we recommend that you fully charge the battery before putting it away, and fully charge it if you do not use it for more than 3 months. This will help extend the battery life.
